Sisters Catherine MacEachern and Ruth Carr set up the ADVENT wreath for the weekly Mass at Parkland Cape Breton. Sister Ruth decorated and arranged this beautiful wreath and shared it with the Congregation de Notre-Dame Sisters and residents to enjoy during this Advent season. This first Sunday of Advent we light the candle of HOPE as we prepare to celebrate God's promise to be with us always.
Sister Marijke Gerretsen, CND, is part of the Congregational Leadership Team including the role of liaison with the Central Committee for Associate Relationship. Sister Marijke shared her personal history of Associate Relationship in Japan, Troyes, Canada, and Central America.
Hi there: My name is Winnie. I was welcomed into Associate Relationship 20 years ago and it was our co-Coordinator Dianne who introduced us to Development & Peace, Caritas Canada 15 years ago. I am currently chair of our Antigonish Diocesan Council. We have been truly blessed by the many who have influenced our lives during our lifetimes, all of whom we are most grateful.
