As members and associates of the Congregation of Notre Dame we
stand with our sisters on all continents, of every race, creed,
nationality, economic or political system in the struggle for equality,
justice and peace for all peoples. With them, we urge participation in
the World March of Women 2000
whose purpose is to demand an end to poverty and violence against women.
March 8th has been designated as the time for launching
efforts associated with the March for Women. Please consult your
national organizations of women for specific materials, dates and events
associated with this March.
