VOL. 7   NO. 3   SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER
 CONGRÉGATION DE NOTRE-DAME

At Youville Centre, Ottawa, Canada, a young mom, Debra, is invited to "play" with her son, Joey, at the toddler/preschool centre.  Teen parents have an opportunity to spend some time with their children and learn from early childhood educators key developmental milestones.

Children of young single parents are enjoying the water table.
Justin, Christopher and David are given the opportunity to socialize and develop tactile and fine motor skills through play.

Teen mothers and their children – Monica, with her son, Kyler; Genevieve, holding her son, Jordan, and Kelly – enjoy a picnic day planned by early childhood educators and support staff. It is an opportunity to participate in a fun activity and share with other mothers and children.

Come
and
see

Come and see. The mission of the CND is alive and well in so many places.

This issue of Dialogue captures the relevance and vitality of the vision of Marguerite Bourgeoys for today’s world THROUGH THE EYES OF THE CAMERA.

In this gallery of images reflective of the international character of the CND, our contributors invite us to look through the lens of liberating education as the common focus of
our diverse involvements. In ways beyond words, they show us a delightful panorama of our responses to the call to be liberating educators, according to the resources and needs of the various milieux in which we live and work.

Thanks to our contributors for this vibrant display of CND mission and life.

Enjoy!
