We celebrate 40 years of missionary life in Honduras

The orchid is the national flower of Honduras

On October 13th 2002, during the month dedicated to Mission, the Congregation of Notre Dame celebrated 40 years of presence in Honduras.

40 years of missionary life and presence helped us to see the past, the present and the future merging as a central force creativity in the construction of the Reign of God.

We celebrate and express our gratitude for all God’s goodness to us. Together with Mary we sing our Magnificat for God’s kindness to the sisters, associates and friends of Marguerite in this Region.

Very early in the morning of October 13th, our Latin American sisters sing the «mañanitas», the typical birthday song of these countries. A very efficient musical alarm clock at dawn!
