On January 12th, 2003, feast
day of our foundress, Marguerite Bourgeoys, we celebrated the entry of
Barbara and Anastacia at the Campo Cielo novitiate in Tegucigalpa,
Honduras. It was a very special day, marked with love and solidarity, for
the Congregation, their families and friends.
It is a great joy for us to welcome these
two young Honduran women who wish to follow Marguerite Bourgeoys’s
footsteps.
For the next 2 years, Barbara and
Anastacia will participate in the mission of the CND in Central America,
while emphasizing prayer, theological study and reflection.
There are 35 CND sisters in Honduras,
Guatemala and El Salvador of whom 16 are Latin-American, including 3
novices.
