PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL ON TV

Sister Madeleine Lavallée, C.N.D. welcomes you to AUVIDEC Inc., a company in Montreal which seeks to proclaim the gospel through the production and distribution of audio-visual works.

Their major project is an award-winning TV news magazine, called "Parole et Vie" (Word and Life). Recorded in a parish church, each 1-hour program includes such elements as:

• interviews with politicians, artists, religious people

• reporting on Internet sites, books, films, music, etc.

• "letters to God" in which young people share their concerns, hopes, desires

• reflections and round table discussions on spiritual issues

«Parole et Vie» can be seen on channel 9 VOX (Quebec) Sundays at noon and Mondays at 4:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. See special Christmas and holiday editions in Dec. 2000-January 2001

Sister Madeleine is sure that if she were alive in the 21^st century, Marguerite Bourgeoys would encourage her work as secretary general of Auvidec, because it enables her to help thousands of people deepen and live their Christian faith.
