C-Cameroun2.GIF (1375 bytes)The CND has been in the Cameroon since 1970, when sisters first went to Makak.

At present there are

  • 22 Associates from the Cameroon.
   We can be found in:
  • Central region
    • Makak (1970)
    • Yaoundé (1992)
  • Far North
    • Douvangar (1979)
    • Tchéré (1996)
    • Ngaoudéré
      (1998, the noviciate house)
  • South
    • Ebolowa (1972)
  • North-West (English-speaking province)
    • Kumbo (1993)
    • Adamaoua

Our ministry is liberating education, education for justice and non-violence, with particular concern for the little ones, the excluded:

  • in primary schools, high schools, a minor seminary,
  • in residences for young women,
  • in working with young people, with women, with those discerning their vocation,
  • in spiritual direction and the formation of catechists, group leaders, Associates,
  • in prison ministry,
  • in diocesan Justice & Peace and Development commissions,
  • with the elderly, orphans, the illiterate,
  • in parish ministry.

Our regional motto is "to be with"
so as to foster both human and spiritual growth
in a spirit of hope.

Like that of our sisters and brothers of the Cameroon,
our main characteristic is the unconditional acceptance of people,
seven days a week, twelve months of the year, from morning to evening.

Come and see!
