- Arising
out of the lives of women we hear cries
of distress (from experiences of
impoverishment, violence, discrimination,
exploitation) and cries of hope (for
justice, equality, dignity, liberation).
We hear ourselves in these cries.
-
- We
want to be in solidarity with the world-wide
movement for the liberation of women in transformative
action. For example:
-
- Apply
ourselves to change relationships of
domination and control to relationships
that are equal and nonviolent, among
people and with all creation;
- foster
an equitable sharing of material
resources;
- encourage
the full participation of women in
decision-making both in society and in
the Church.
