Joseph Street. On December 12, 2022, the annual Christmas bags were delivered to Joseph Street residents, part of Home Based Housing Kingston. Thank you to sisters and associates for their wonderful contributions and Barb and Eileen for shopping.
A few years ago, Visitation Province Vocation Committee reached out to Sisters in Marguerite Bourgeoys Province with a proposal to collaborate on vocation initiatives. The leaders of both provinces spoke, and the Canadian CND Vocation Committee came to be.
At Epiphany, we celebrate the Kings with a festive meal during which a pastry called galette des rois is served. A dry pea and a bean are baked into the pastry, and the person who finds it in his or her piece is declared king or queen.
