Sister Bea Baker is leaving for San Antonio Texas on December 11th to volunteer for 3 weeks with the newly arrived refugees and immigrants entering the U.S. because they are suffering from violence and poverty. Sister Bea wants to be a loving presence for them and pray for an open heart. She has created a BLOG at sisterbeacnd.wordpress.com if you would like to followher experiences each day. Sisters, associates and guests came together Friday, December 2, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Convent, Sydney, NS, to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Congregation de Notre-Dame Associate Relationship and the 40th Anniversary of the Canonization of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys.
Holy Angels and St. Theresa’s group met at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys church on October 20th, 2022. The prayer service on Interculturality was presented, reflections and sharing transpired.
